Funding Provided by the Hungarian Government Scholarship
The scholarship covers the following:
Full tuition fees.
A monthly stipend that varies depending on the program, as follows:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, and non-degree programs: A monthly stipend of 43,700 Hungarian Forints (approximately €120) to contribute to living expenses in Hungary, paid monthly throughout the duration of the studies.
- Doctoral students: In accordance with current Hungarian legislation, a monthly stipend of 140,000 Hungarian Forints (approximately €390) is provided during the first phase of studies (4 semesters) and 180,000 Hungarian Forints (approximately €500) during the second phase (4 semesters), paid monthly throughout the duration of the studies.
- Contribution to accommodation expenses: through the provision of free accommodation or a monthly financial contribution of 40,000 Forints to cover living costs for the duration of the scholarship.
- Medical insurance: of up to HUF 65,000 (cca EUR 180) is offered for 12 months per person.
