The University of Trento in Italy is seeking 10 students from conflict zones (Gaza, Sudan) to study for a full year!

The University of Trento in Italy has announced the launch of the “Students in Danger” (rischio a Studenti) project for the 2025/2026 academic year. This comprehensive program will receive and train ten (10) international students from conflict zones, including one student from Gaza. The project aims to provide a safe environment for students who face difficulties in starting or continuing their university studies in their home countries due to instability or danger.

What does the program offer?

The program is a full year of university preparatory studies (Year Foundation), lasting one year, and includes:

  • A scholarship of €7,200.
  • Free accommodation and meals.
  • Intensive Italian language and university preparation courses.
  • Coverage of transportation and health insurance costs.
  • The opportunity to attend individual or preparatory courses for later university studies.

Eligibility requirements

  • Must reside outside of Italy
  • Must be from a conflict zone
  • Must be unable to study safely in their home country
  • Must have completed at least 12 years of schooling
