Job Requirement
- Master’s degree in Science (Mathematics, Statistics), or related field.
- Experienced academician/professional with a credible track record in teaching & learning, at least 3 years teaching experiences.
- Fluent in English Language (speaking, writing, teaching).

The Centre for Foundation Studies is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer in Mathematics to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching mathematics and a strong commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment as well as delivering high-quality mathematics courses to equip students with the fundamental mathematical concepts necessary for their academic journey.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive mathematics courses tailored to the needs of students at the foundation level.
- Create engaging lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that promote active learning and critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate records of students performance and attendance.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students who require extra assistance in mathematics.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, examinations, and other assessment methods.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their mathematical skills.
- Provide academic advising and support to students, addressing their individual needs and challenges.
- Stay updated on educational trends and pedagogical techniques to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the Mathematical Department to ensure course alignment and program cohesion.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and academic committees as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the mathematics curriculum and teaching methods.
