Job Requirement
- Master’s degree in TESL/TESOL/English Language, or related field (a Ph.D. is preferred).
- Experienced academician/professional with a credible track record in teaching & learning, at least 3 years teaching experiences.
- Trained to teach General Studies (MPU) courses.
Summary:
The Centre for Foundation Studies is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer to teach English at foundation level. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong command of the English language, and the ability to engage and inspire students in their academic journey.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, tutorials, and workshops in English
- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment methods.
- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, exams, and
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on students work to facilitate their learning and
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of English
- Stay updated with educational trends, best practices, and technologies to improve teaching
- Provide academic advising and support to students, addressing their individual needs and
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and subject
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and committees to contribute to the academic
- Collaborate with colleagues and academic staff to ensure consistency and quality in course
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the Centre.
