IT Support

Job Summary:

ICT Department is looking for a proactive and experienced IT Support Specialist to join the team. As the primary point of contact for on-site IT support, the candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems in AIU.

Job Responsibilities:

On-Site Support:

1. Provide comprehensive on-site IT support for PC, laptop, projector, networking, and AV equipment.
2. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
3. Execute routine maintenance tasks to optimize system performance.

End-User Assistance:

1. Assist employees with IT-related needs, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
2. Conduct training sessions to enhance end-users’ IT literacy.
3. Address inquiries and troubleshoot problems with tact and professionalism.

Collaboration:

1. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a cohesive and synchronized approach to IT operations.
2. Participate in team meetings to share insights, challenges, and solutions.
3. Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Technical Proficiency:

1. Knowledge of PC and laptop hardware and software.
2. Familiarity with networking principles and troubleshooting.
3. Understanding of audiovisual equipment and its integration with IT systems.

Skills:

1. Strong problem-solving abilities.
2. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to adapt to evolving IT environments.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar IT support role.

Education:

• Minimum education requirement: Diploma in IT or related fields.
