Job Summary:
ICT Department is looking for a proactive and experienced IT Support Specialist to join the team. As the primary point of contact for on-site IT support, the candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems in AIU.
Job Responsibilities:
On-Site Support:
- Provide comprehensive on-site IT support for PC, laptop, projector, networking, and AV equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks to optimize system performance.
End-User Assistance:
- Assist employees with IT-related needs, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance end-users’ IT literacy.
- Address inquiries and troubleshoot problems with tact and professionalism.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a cohesive and synchronized approach to IT operations.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights, challenges, and solutions.
- Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of PC and laptop hardware and software.
- Familiarity with networking principles and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of audiovisual equipment and its integration with IT systems.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving IT environments.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar IT support role.
Education:
- Minimum education requirement: Diploma in IT or related fields.
