We maintain a commitment to continuous on-the-job coaching and mentoring for all graduates, maximizing the benefits of this program. We expect more than 65% of graduates to achieve full time roles within the Group.<\/p>\n<p>The YPP program bridges the gap between the academic and the professional world by helping graduates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop professional skills<\/li>\n<li>Become problem solvers<\/li>\n<li>Create strong foundations for successful careers<\/li>\n<li>Learn about business ethics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Program Administration<\/h5>\n<p>The YPP Program is administered primarily by the corporate Human resources Department.<\/p>\n<p>YPP may be converted to a permanent position (or, in some limited circumstances a term appointment lasting less than a year). To be eligible for conversion, Recent Graduates must have:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Successfully completed the entire YPP rotation of continuous service in addition to all requirements of the Program.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated successful job performance.<\/li>\n<li>Met the qualifications for the position to which the recent graduate will be<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Engineering Development Program<\/h4>\n<p>The Group also runs an EDP (Engineering Development Program) which is an intense early-career developmental program especially designed for graduates to Mechanical &amp; Production Engineering to blend in their academic knowledge with practical in-depth experience and technical training.
