Each year, Rotary selects up to 130 peace and development leaders from around the world to receive fully funded academic fellowships to pursue a Professional Development Certificate Program or Master’s Degree Program related to peace and conflict resolution and prevention at one of the participating peace centers around the world (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Thailand, Uganda)

Financial Coverage
Rotary Peace Fellowship is a Fully Funded Scholarships for international students. The Scholarships will cover all the Expenses.

Eligibility Criteria
For Master Degree Program:
- Be Proficient in English
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace as shown through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service
- Potential for Leadership
- Have at least three years of full-time experience in peace or development work
You are not eligible if you are an active Rotary member, employee of a Rotary club, Rotary International, or other Rotary entity.
Eligibility For Certificate Program
- Necessary Work Experience.
- Be proficient in English
- Have a bachelor’s degree
- Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace as shown through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Be able to explain how their plan to promote peace aligns with Rotary’s mission
- Candidates for Makerere University: Either be from the region or currently working in the region.

How to Apply for Rotary Fellowship 2022-23?
- A candidate must first review the restrictions to apply.
- After that, a candidate must research the program and Rotary Peace centers.
- A candidate will get the choice to choose two centers for the master’s degree program and one for the certificate program.
- All candidates must submit the application before 15th May 2021.
- A Rotary Fellowship application requires the following materials in English;
- A resume
- An academic or professional recommendations
- Essays, transcripts
- A social impact plan (certificate only)
- Test scores (master’s only).
- An applicant’s application must be endorsed by the nearest Rotary district.
- Results will be announced in November 2021.
- Till that time, apply for admission to the university in which you wanted to avail Rotary Peace Fellowship.
